Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Nine years ago, in 2006 after getting encouragement from popular model Nobel and popular TV actress Aupee Karim Mahfuz Ahmed debuted his career as a director to make a telefilm titled Goodbye Cinorina. In that telefilm, Mahfuz Ahmed also acted with Nobel and Aupee Karim besides giving direction. This time Mahfuz Ahmed only gave direction in a restless play, which has been made to telecast on NTV in Eid-ul-Azha. Nobel and Aupee acted as a pair in the play titled Tumi Amake Boloni. Maruf Rehman has written story of the play. Director Mahfuz informed that it is a suspense story based play. Nobel and Aupee acted in role of husband-wife in the play. Besides them, Nazira Mou also acted in an important role in the play. To work after nine years Mahfuz, Nobel and Aupee became nostalgic. Mahfuz said, “In 2006, there was no reason to make any telefilm by me. In fact, if my good friends and colleagues – Nobel and Aupee didn’t inspire me I couldn’t make that telefilm during that time. As a result, I couldn’t become a director. In one hand, Nobel is a finest model; on the other hand, Aupee is a finest actress. But what a nice chemistry between them on the screen that was realised by me after working with them. For this reason, after taking a long time gap I have worked with them again which was also appreciated by Nobel and Aupee.”Nobel shared his feelings by this way, “I act in play/telefilm a little bit. Mahfuz is my intimate friend and I also worked under his first directed telefilm. For this reason, this time I couldn’t avoid his request to act in this play after a long time. I have enjoyed a lot working in this play.” Aupee said, “Both Nobel Bhai and Mahfuz Bhai are favourite persons to me. I have completed one decade of my acting career working with them. During working with them I became very much nostalgic. In telefilm Goodbye Cinorina, I acted against them. If Mahfuz Bhai worked in this play it became nicer. In fact, I like to see Mahfuz Bhai as an actor rather than a play director.”It may be mentioned that the play Tumi Amake Boloni has been made under Mahfuz Ahmed’s own production house Banichitra. Meanwhile, on the occasion of coming Eid mahfuz also acted in a telefilm titled Aamar Bela Je Jai under Arif Khan’s direction. On the other hand, Aupee Karim will be seen to act in Nuzhat Alvi Ahmed, Sagor Jahan and Ratan Ripon’s plays in Eid.
