Member of Parliament of Raozan Constituency ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury announced the name of the proposed Noapara Railway Station on Chattogram-Kaptai Highway after the name of anti-British revolutionary great leader Masterda Surya sen.
He disclosed it while garlanding the statue of Mastesrda Surya Sen infront of Masterda Smriti Pathagar adjoining Raozan Govt College on his 86th execution day .
Masterda was executed 86 years ago by the then British Ruler. He said ” we are proud of MasterDa as he was the resident of Raozan and the people of the country will be inspired with his concept of revolution like our liberation war. President of MasterDa Library Shamal Kumar Palit presided the programs of 86th execution day of the revolutionary leader .
Among others, Upazila Chairman Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury Babul, Asstt. Commissioner of Land Junaid Kabir Sohag, Acting President of Upazila AL Kamaluddin, Panel Mayor-1 Bashirddin Khan and Panel Mayor-2 Zamiruddin Parvez spoke on the occasion.
