Detained Helena Jahangir, the former member of Awami League sub-committee on women’s affairs, does not have any valid documents for the IP TV. “The office was sealed off on Friday morning after an overnight raid,” said RAB executive magistrate Nadir Shah.
He said some documents were found during the raid. After checking and sorting them, the television may be shut down. The allegation of “trade” in staff recruitment is also being investigated.
Earlier, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel detained Helena Jahangir at a drive at her Gulshan residence on Thursday night.
