BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said there will be no relieve for countrymen until the fall of the illegal, autocratic and corrupt government.
“Fire is everywhere now. Houses of people are burning, slums in Dhaka are burning. Ruling party men have become desperate to grab lands. The whole nation is insecured. There is no security of life here,” he said on Sunday while distributing relief items and clothes among Mohammadpur Johuri Mahalla slum dwellers who are hit hard by fire incident.
Dhaka City West Chhatra Dal arranged the programme.
Criticising the government, the BNP leader further said, “The Prime Minister speaks on development. The words of autocrat never bring development or peace for people.”
When the ministers and MPs of the ruling party speak about the development, it indicates that conspiracy for acquiring crores of money through corruption is on, said Rizvi.
Dhaka Metropolitan West unit Chhatra Dal president Kamruzzaman Jewel, Sechhasebak Dal president Liton Mahmud Babu, Aminur Rahman Liton and HM Mozammel, among others, were present at that time.
