Chief Election commissioner KM Nurul Huda said there is no reasons of fearing about the casting of vote through EVM. He disclosed it while answering to the questions of the journalists at Chattogram Circuit House yesterday afternoon.
Referring to the allegations of BNP over EVM , he said every one has right to complain but complain should be justified .He said one voter will caste one vote rather any more through EVM. CEC also said there is no report of anarchy and clash among the candidates, so it is hoped that the casting of vote will be completed in a fair and peacefully. About violation of election code of conduct, he said every allegations will be scrutinized and actions if needed will be taken as per existing laws.
About deployment of law enforcers in the polling centres,he said additional forces will be deputed than the existing forces. He also reputed the blame of holding 25 % votes in the hands of Presiding Officers which is a miracle like sighting of the face of man in Moon. He also hoped that maximum voters will participate the vote because the major political parties are participating . Among others, Additional ‘secretary of Election Commission Md. Moklesur Rahman, divisional commissioner Md. Abdul Mannan , Deputy Commissioner Md. Elias Hossain, Regional Election Officer Hasanuzzaman were present on the occasion.
