State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Md Enamur Rahman on Tuesday said the government is constructing 11,500 more houses for the homeless people, assuring that no one will remain homeless in the country in the days to come.
“The present government is working for the welfare of the country’s people,” he said while inaugurating 50 disaster-resistant houses for gipsy and transgender communities in Kaiserkonda area, Dhamrai upazila here.
As per the election manifesto of the government, no person will remain homeless and villages will turn into towns, Enamur said.
