No national election before 2019- Nasim

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim said, there will be no national election before 2019 and so BNP has to wait till 2019 for election.
He said this while speaking as chief guest in the triennial council of the Chapainawabganj district unit of Awami League on Tuesday.
The opening session of the council was held on the Horimohon Government High School premises with the president of Chapainawabganj district unit of Awami League and former state minister Brigadier General (Rtd) Mohammad Enamul Hoque in the chair.
Among others, Mahbubul Alam Hanif MP, Jahangir Kabir Nanak MP, Lieutenant Colonnel (Rtd) Mohammad Faruk Khan MP, Abu Sayed Al Mahmud Swapon MP, AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, Mirza Azam MP, local AL leaders Abdul Wadud MP, Golam Mostofa Biswas MP, Golam Rabbani MP and Moinuddin Mondal spoke on the occasion.
The minister said, the election of 5th January was held constitutionally and all elections in future would be held under constitutional way.
If the election of 5th January could not be held, there would have been martial law and there would have been no constitution or democracy and the country would have been like Thailand, he added.
He further added that paying no heed to the call of the prime minister, BNP leader Begum Khaleda Zia started destruction, burned buses by pouring patrol, killed people and destroyed environment by felling down lakhs of trees.
Still she has been giving continuous threat but her threats would go in vain as AL does not fear any threat, he said again.
Nasim upheld the development activities of the government and said, Begum Khaleda Zia nurtured militancy and Sheikh Hasina has checked militancy and terrorism in strong hand.
He added that now people of the country are living in a peaceful atmosphere. There is no monga or scarcity of food in the country. Bangladesh is now exporting rice abroad. The trial of the killing of Bangabandhu has been finished and the trial of the war criminals has been going on.
Ziaur Rahman killed people without trial and failing to give fertilizer he killed farmers. 17 people sacrificed their lives for electricity in this district during the tenure of BNP, he further said.
Later Mohammad Nasim visited Chapainawabganj sadar hospital and talked with the leaders of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA).
