Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Anisul Hoque MP said, the government of Sheikh Hasina believes that no development is possible without the implementation of the rule of law.
So all measures are being taken for bringing motion in the judiciary sector, he added.
He further added that for the development of the judiciary department a lot of steps including separate pay scale for the judicial officials and vehicular facilities have been taken.
He was addressing as Chief Guest a function arranged for inaugurating the newly constructed four storied building of Chapainawabganj chief judicial magistrate’s court on Thursday afternoon.
The function was held on the court premises with the Chapainawabganj senior district and session judge Md. Enamul Bari in the chair.
Among others, law maker of Chapainawabganj Sadar constituency Md. Abdul Wadud, Secretary of the Ministry Abu Saleh Sheikh Md. Jahirul Hoque as special guests, Additional Secretary of Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Chairman of Chapainawabganj Zila Parishad Moinuddin Mondal, Additional Chief Engineer of Public Works Department (PWD) Shafiqur Rahman and President of Chapainawabganj Bar Association Adv Mosaddeq Hossain Kajal spoke on the occasion.
Public Works Department (PWD) constructed the building at a cost of Tk. 21,60,00,000.
The foundation stone was laid on June 21, 2012 by the then state minister for law, judiciary and parliament affairs Quamrul Islam.
The minister said, the building has a foundation of 12 storeys and four more storeys would be constructed soon and as a result jam of cases would be relieved and there would be no jam of cases in future.
He again said that this government has a plan to send 540 judges to Australia for better training.
Sheikh Hasina had to wait for 40 years for justice and her government has been trying to make justice faster so that none has to wait a long for getting justice, he added.
He further added that all commitments made by Sheikh Hasina would be fulfilled in phases.
He also asked all to give mandate to those who are working for development in the coming elections.
