Civil Surgeon of Chittagong Dr. Md.Azizur Rahman siddiqui said till today, no patient affected with the Chikunguniya disease in Chittagong.
He disclosed it at a meeting of views exchange on Dengu and Chikunguniya in the city. He said in the meantime, city corporation has undertaken measures to control the disease Chikunguniya through different measures. He further apprised that all govt and non-govt physicians will be trained in civil surgeon office by the IEDCR duly patronised by the Health Directorate.
Director of IEDCR Prof. Dr. Mirzadi serina Flora graced the occasion as chief guest.
4 held with fake notes: Detective Branch police of CMP in a special raid in city rounded up four currency note traders alongwith huge fake notes. The detained currency note traders identified as Monirul Islam, Forkan, Rajibdhar, and Sohel. Additonal Deputy commissioner ofDB AAM Humayun told that the detained currency note traders are the professional currcncy peddler.
