Dhupaghat Govt Primary School is situated beside Gafargaon-Bhaluka Road at Gafargaon Upazila under Mymensingh and Varoil Gondogram, Maizhati, Dhiga S.M, Soybaria, Barvora, harshankhchura, Awlajur, Dhiga Moddopara, ,Konnamondol, GPP. Lawtail, Govt.Primary School and other 40 schools are located on the side of Gafargaon-Mymensingh, Gafargaon-Hussainpur, Gafargaon-Bhaluka, Gafargaon- Bormi, Gafargaon- Toke, regional Road.
Upazila Education Office sources said that there are no boundary wall of these school. As a result, learners often go the field while playing and road accidents happen frequently.
Besides, guardians and teachers are always in panic. At least 11 thousand learners are studying in these schools.
Schools and locals informed, 272 learners are studying at Dhupaghat Govt. Primary schools at present. These learners are playing in the gap of classes. Many of them go to the road and they fall victim of accidents. Because , buses and trucks are moving on this road to Gafargaon to Dhaka and Gafargaon to Mymensingh.
Rabeya Pervin ,Headmistress of this school informed, Maria Akter , a student of class Two go to the road from school field on 12 December . Later, she was run over by a speedy auto-rickshaw.. Later, she died in a hospital of Dhaka after four days fighting with death on December 16 , Saturday noon. Besides, a learner of class two named Mustakin was critically injured in the last year.
Mojida Akter , Headmistress of Konnamondol Govt Primary School informed, her school is located on the road of Gafargaon- Toke. Ripa Kormoker, a student of class Two was seriously injured by Motor-bike on February Month lack of boundary wall around this school. Later, she came back home healing after taking long time treatment in Dhaka. Later , child’s father got herself admitted into another school.
Gafargaon Upazila Engineer Muhammad Tafazzal Hussain informed , a proposal has been sent to higher authority for those schools which have no boundary wall.
