Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Mia on Sunday said no large scale crime was taken place during the
Eid-ul-Azha vacation as police personnel performed their duties with professionalism.
“We have taken tight security measures in the capital city for peaceful celebration of the Eid and policemen had performed duties with professionalism for which no major crime was taken place during the vacation,” he said at an Eid reunion programme of the police personnel at DMP headquarters here.
Asaduzzaman Mia thanked the DMP personnel for their hardworking in ensuring security to the city dwellers and maintaining law and order of the capital city.
