bdnews24.com :There is no legal bar to arrest Tangail-3 MP Amanur Rahman Khan Rana over the murder of local Awami League leader and freedom fighter Faruk Ahmed, says Attorney General Mahbubey Alam.His comments came on Wednesday after the Supreme Court resolved a petition in this regard.On January 18, 2013, Faruk Ahmed, a member of Awami League’s Tangail district unit, was shot dead in front of his residence at the town’s College Para.His wife filed a case over the killing on January 21 with the Tangail police.On Sept 14, a national daily ran a report claiming that the MP and his brothers were behind the killing.
