Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu said there is no alternative to public-private partnership (PPP) for the development of the country. “Development activities of private organizations play a vital role in accelerating the government activities,” he said. The minister said this on Sunday while central leaders of Jatiya Sanchalan Parishad (JSP) called on him at his office here. Jatiya Sanchalan Parishad, an alliance of non-government organisations, met the minister to integrate their work-plan with the government activities.
Their work-plan included poverty alleviation, women empowerment, implementation of Liberation War spirit and facing the challenge of environment change.
JSP Vice-Chairperson Masuda Faruk Ratna, general secretary Kazi Enayet Hossain, publicity secretary Mahbuba Begum and Treasurer Shahidul Islam, among others, were present on the occasion.
