Deputy Speaker Advocate Fazle Rabbi Miah on Saturday said there is no alternative to polls in a democratic country and BNP has decided to join the upcoming upazila election after realizing it.
“Khaleda Zia has made a grave mistake by not participating in the 5 January election and now she is paying for her mistake,” he said.
Fazle Rabbi said this while addressing a discussion organized by Bangabandhu Academy in the auditorium of Institute of Diploma Engineers.
Presided over by academy’s advisor Haji Md Selim, MP, the meeting was addressed by Jasad leader Mir Hossain Akter and Samyabadi Dal leader Harun Chowdhury, among others. “People will never vote for those, who kill people by setting passenger bus on fire, create anarchy in the name of movement,” the Deputy Speaker added.
