Secretary General of the Islami Front Allama Jainul Abedin Jubair disclosed that there is no alternatives of national unity to resist the militancy and terrorism from the country.
He was addressing the mass rally held infront of Chittagong press club on Monday evening as chief guest. Islami Front , city, north and south unit of chittagong jointly organsied the rally protesting the killings of foreigners in a restaurant inGulshan , Solakia Eid jamaat maidan and killing of law enforcers in front of Madina Masjide Nababi recently.
The rally was told that 28 persons including 20 foreigners and two police officials killed in Solakia recently by the militants. President of south district of IF Allama Kazi Jasimuddin presided over it .
Among others, senior joint secretary of IF M Solaiman, president of North district unit Moulana Hafez ahed , city general secretary Abdul Karim, general secretary of south district Mouland Faruqui, general secretary of north unit Moulana Jainul Abedin spoke on the occasion.
The chief guest in his brief deliverations said militant activities and terrorism now became a deadly disease for the nation and we should eliminate these disease from the society with joint efforts of the people irrespective of opinions. He further said there is no alternative of national unity to resolve this crisis.
He called upon the people of the country to get united like liberation war of 1971 to resist the militancy . He disclosed it while addressing the views exchanging with the party leaders and workers at his city residence as arranged by the BNP North, south and city unit on Saturday afternoon at his residence .
He said the people are under the attacks of militants across the country and we should be united like liberation war to resist such attacks by the outlawed groups at any cost.. He also emphasized the need of national unity above all disputes among the peoples . Allama Jubaid also told that there is no place of terrorism and militancy in Islam.
