Rahima Begum , mother of Arshad Ahmed Asad ,Gafargaon Correspondent of The New Nation died on May 10 ,2017.
She was 70.
She was the wife of Md.Akhter Hussain ,Principal in- charge (Retd) of Gafargaon Government College , Gafargaon ,Mymensingh.
She was the mother of five sons and a daughter. She had been suffering from lung cancer for some time. After treatment at Bangabandhu Medical University for 11 days she was brought to her own residence.
But she died at her residence of Gafargaon. She was a very pious lady and she had completed her hajj. She left her sons , a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death .
Milad Mahfil and Quaran Khani was held at both of her residence and village home.
