Nizamuddin Ahmed Chowdhury has been promoted to the post of General Manager of Sonali Bank Ltd who joined the GM office at Comilla .
Before his joining as General Manager, he holds the post of Deputy General Manager of the Bank in Chittagong principal office . Mentionaable that Nizamuddin chowdhury joined in Sonali Bank in 1984 as Financial Analyst after graduating from Chitagong University in Accounting. During his 32 years of service in the bank , he discharged duties in different posts in branches, zonal and principal offices.
He achieved training in higher banking disciplines on international trade from UK and joined a number of seminar and workshops abroad, a bank sources said. During his service period, he visited France, Belgium, Holland, UAE, Saudi Arab, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and India. Nizam Chowdhury born in Kadalpur village of Raozan Upazila in 1961 in a respectable Muslim family . He is father of two sons, family sources said.
