On the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day, a special play titled Unexpected Story has been made by promising director Mahmudur Rahman Himi to telecast on Banglavision.
Popular actors of present time Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury acted in two lead roles in the play. Director Himi himself also wrote story of the play. Shooting of the play was done in Dhaka’s Uttara’s different locations last week. Masum Bashar, Mili Bashar, Kazi Ujjal, among others, also acted in other roles in the play.
While talking about acting in the play Afran Nisho told this correspondent, “For the first time I acted under Himi’s direction in any play. I have liked story of the play. Therefore, I was earlier informed about Himi’s works. He works in organised way. For this reason, I agreed to work under his direction. Overall I believe this play will be enjoyed by the viewers. However, I always enjoy working with Mehazabien. She is a matured actress now.”
Mehazabien shared her feelings by this way, “Earlier under Himi’s direction I acted in plays like Epitaf, Ichchhey Kham, Tomar Opekkhai and Niswash. Himi has intention to finish the work properly. His unit is also organised. For this reason, I always feel comfortable to work under his direction. In fact, I have liked story of the play which is made on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. I always want to work in exceptional story based plays. I hope viewers will enjoy the play. I give thanks to Nisho Bhai to co-operate me like other works during shooting of this play.”
Director Himi informed that the play will be telecast on Banglavision at 11:25pm on February 14, Valentine’s Day.
It is noted that in the beginning of this year Nisho-Mehzabien acted play titled Appointment Letter attracted the viewers’ attention.
Therefore, on the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day, Himi directed and Apurba and Safa Kabir starred play Tumi Bolley will be telecast in a Youtube channel.
