Gaye Holud of Close Up 1 famed popular singer Nishita Barua was held at a restaurant in the capital’s Merul Badda area on Monday night. The singer informed that her wedding ceremony is scheduled to be held on Wednesday. Name of Nishita’s groom is Dipankar Barua who is working in the National Bank. They have relationship of four years. Despite having their relationship, their wedding ceremony is going to arrange under two families’ eagerness.
Nishita said, “Hometown of both of us is Chattogram. But our wedding ceremony will be held in Dhaka. After getting married, we will go to Chattogram. Due to Corona pandemic, wedding ceremony is to be organised in limited way. We took preparation to get married last year. But Corona didn’t fulfil our dream.”
Nishita Barua was the second runner-up of Close Up 1 in 2006. She became popular face in the reality show through rendering the song titled Rongdhonu bhalo lage, nil akash bhalo lage. In 2007, Nishita’s debut solo album Amai Niye Cholo was released. Besides films, she also lent her voice for jingles of TVCs. “I am going to start a new life. Everybody pray for us,” Nishita also said.
