A group of unidentified miscreants strangled a night guard before stealing three motorcycles from a house in Munshipara area in Rangpur in the early hours of Wednesday.The deceased was identified as Adam Ali, 60, son of late Yakub Ali of Keranipara area of the city.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Rangpur Medical College Hospital
for autopsy.
Later, the body of Ali was handed over to his relatives.
A case was filed in this connection with Kotwali police station.
