An old man was killed by his niece over family feud and land dispute on Thursday noon. It is reported that, Kasum Ali (70) of village Maddah Gobindapur under Hossainpur upazila of Kishoreganj.
The deceased was indentified as Kashem Ali, 70, of the village.
Officer-In-Charge (OC) Nannu Mollah of Hossainpur Police Station said, the niece Rekha Akter was locked in an altercation with one of her relatives at noon. As Kashem Ali tried to calm them down, the niece hit him by a stick, leaving him dead on the spot.
A case was filed with Hossainpur Police Station.
