The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Sunday expressed grave concern over the disappearance of BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed.
In a statement on Sunday, the NHRC also noted they are aware that Salahuddin’s family members are passing their days in worries as they have no idea where he has been since his disappearance for a while.
The NHRC observed that every citizen of the country has the rights to get safety of life and freedom of movement as well as justice.
“The Commission is requesting the authorities concerned again to take appropriate steps in this regard,” said the statement, signed by NHRC secretary MA Salam.
