National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Chairman Kazi Reazul Hoque on Sunday asked for a proper probe to ensure justice in the incident of two minor girls of Tripura community in Bandarban.
He said, the authorities must ensure punishment of perpetrators after proper investigation into the case.

He said, the authorities must ensure punishment of perpetrators after proper investigation into the case.
“I urged all authorities concerned to ensure justice
through proper investigation into the case,” said NHRC Chairman Kazi Reazul Hoque in a press statement on Sunday.
The NHRC chairman also urged the local administration and law enforcers to take necessary measures to ensure the safety of the women of the small ethnic groups of the Chattagram Hill Tracts.
The rape victims alleged that they were taken to a nearby jungle from their home in Tripura Para by a man, Jonerong Tripura, on Wednesday where three members of paramilitary Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) – Sumon, Maruf and Rabiul Islam – allegedly violated them.
