An NGO director was killed by his rival groups at his office in Chatirchar Bazar under Nikli Upazila of Kishoreganj on Sunday midnight over money transactions. The victim was identified as Md Sultan Miah (48) son of Md Shaheb Ali Palpara village in Gorui Union under Nikli upazila.
He was also Executive Director of Rongdhonu Cooperative Samity .
Nikli Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Nasiruddin Bhuiyan said that we received on information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body. The body was sent to Kishoreganj 250- bed General Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed in this connection with Nikli Police Station.
