Lawyers of Narayanganj Bar on Sunday demanded the arrest and exemplary punishment of those who were involved in abductions and killings of seven people, including their colleague Chandan Kumar Sarker and Narayanganj City Corporation panel mayor Nazrul Islam.
They made the demand from a human chain formed on the court premises here.
Besides, they also announced a set of fresh programmes including staging one-hour work abstention from 9:00am to 10:00am every workday and forming human chain
and bringing out procession every alternative day respectively from 12:00 Noon to 1:00pm for an indefinite period.
The lawyers also demanded immediate implementation of High Court (HC) order asking the Home Secretary for taking immediate steps to arrest the three former RAB officials.
