Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif on Tuesday said the next national election would be held under the incumbent government as per constitution.
“Riding on public support the grand alliance will win in the next parliament election. That’s why BNP is out to make different talks (allegations) about it,” he told a representative’s meeting of Settlement Press Sramik Karmachari Union.
Awami League (AL) Labour Affairs Secretary Habibur Rahman Siraj, Jatiya Sramik League President Shukkur Mahmud, its General Secretary Sirajul Islam and Tejgaon Industrial Area Thana Awami League President Shafiullah Shafi addressed the function, among others, with the Settlement Press Sramik Karmachari Union President Ashikur Rahman in the chair.
