Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, Dhaka Division Ahmed Hussain said, the next general election will not be held even one day prior to the completion of the tenure of the present government, it must have to be held in due time within the framework of the country’s constitution.
“It is crystal clear that the next Jatiya Sangsad polls will be held under the government headed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina following the constitutional provisions as there is no alternative option in the constitution for holding the election by fulfilling any demand of any quarter including Khaleda Zia” he said.
Ahmed Hussain was addressing a discussion meeting as Chief Guest marking the concluding session of the four-day long Baishakhi Fair at Netrakona Datta High School ground here recently .
