Mohammad Abdul Jalil, an elderly member of Chittagong Newspaper Hawkers Union (CNHU), died of cardiac arrest at 10 am at Chittagong Medical College Hospital yesterday.He was 55, CNHU sources said last evening.He left behind his wife, two sons and a daughter to mourn his death.
Abdul Jalil, also a former director of the Chittagong Newspaper Hawkers Multipurpose Cooperative Society (CNHMCS).CNHU president Abu Taleb, vice-president Delwar Hossain Patwary, CNHMCS president Obaidul Hoque Majumdar and secretary Delwar Hossain condoled the death and expressed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members.
