City Desk :The certificate awarding ceremony of a training courses on ‘TV News Presentation’ conducted by Bangladesh Institute of Journalism and Electronic Media (BIJEM) was held on Thursday at its conference room. Mohammad Shahid Islam, Managing Director & CEO of ‘Marafie Kuwaitia Group of Companies’ one of the largest Group of Kuwait was present as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants. Emphasizing on the necessity of advance training on journalism, the chief guest said that a modern journalism training institute can help us to increase our journalists’ skills. Prof. Dr. Faheem Hasan Shahed, English Department of AIUB, Shamima Nargis, Asstt. Director of BIJEM, Shaila Haque, Engliish News Presenter of ATN Bangia , among others spoke, on the occasion. BIJEM Executive Director Mirza Tarequl Qader presided over the function.
