Farmer’s body recovered in Baraigram

A dead body of a farmer Ashraful Islam ( 30) was recovered from a banana garden of the village Kamardah of Baraigram upazila under Natore district . Ashraful Islam is a son of Abul Hossain of the village Kayemkola under Baraigram upazila. Passersby saw the dead body at about 8 o’clock on Thursday night. Police recovered the dead body and sent it at Natore Hospital morgue on last Friday for autopsy.
Dhaka FM starts broadcasting in Barisal

FM Radio Station Dhaka FM 90.4 has launched broadcasting in Barisal region from Thursday with the commitment of maintaining standard version of Bangla linguistic characteristics, cultural heritage and traditions. To mark the occasion, Ehsan Mahbub, director of ‘Dhaka FM90.4’, revealed that ‘Dhaka FM 90.4’ has already become very popular among thousands of audience for its innovative programmes since it went on air in 2012.Now we offering quality news, entertainment and superb music programmes with the involvement of young and vibrant presenters.
Growing of chemicals-free mangoes stressed

Speakers in a day long seminar yesterday stressed on the growing of chemicals-free mangoes and the development of packetting system for increasing the export of mangoes to other countries. Bangladesh Mango Merchants Association arranged the seminar on ‘Export Opportunities of Mango and Mango Products’ with the association of Export Development Bureau of commars ministry of Bangladesh at Saifuddin Memorial Fazil Madrasa conference room of Kansat under Shbganj upazila of the district. The seminar was held with the vice president of the Mango aratdar samity of Kansat Habibullah in the chair and was addressed by assistant commissioner of Shibganj Afaz Uddin as chief guest, vice precident of chembaer of commers abd indastry Abdul Hannan Hanu as spesial guest. The speakers said, mango, the most delicious summer fruit of Bangladesh and the other products from mangoes have a bright prospect for exporting them to other countries. Meanwhile, exporting has been started and to increase the export, use of harmful chemicals must be avoided and developed packetting system should be used, they added. They further added that mangoes should not be harvested or marketed before maturity.Mango farmers and dealers took part in the seminar.
