Ex- prisoner robbed by ex -prison employee

An ex -prisoner (koyedi) robbed an ex -employee of a prison (kararakkhi) on Sunday night in a Jhenaidah village. The ex prison employee with his wife is now under going treatment at Sailkupa upazila health complex in Jhenaidah. The incident took place at Dangipara village of Sailkupa upazila in Jhenaidah. The koyedi was success the robbing when he came to the house of the kararakkhi as his relative which he developed during his imprisonment. Abdur Razzaque, a Habilder of the prison of Dangipara village in Sailkupa said, a prisoner of Kushtia area developed relation with him when he was in a prison at Jhenaidah district prison. Following the friendship the ex prisoner as his regular visit, came to Razzaque’s house with some fruits in the night of Sunday. Razzaque and his wife when consumed the fruits, lost their consciousness. Later the locals rescued them and send to Sailkupa upazila health complex on Monday noon. The cheat mugged Razaque’s truck selling proceeds cash, ornaments and other belongings for Taka several lakhs and fled away.
Two arrested along with 1.5 thousands pieces of yaba

Two drug traders were arrested along with 1500 pieces 0f Yaba tablets from Bagerhat bus terminal in Bagerhat district town on Monday noon by the members of RAB-6. The arrested drug traders are Md. Zahidul Islam (26), son of one Habibur Rahman Shaikh of village Bhaijor under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district and Md. Mantu Shaikh (49), son of one late Asmat Ali Shaikh of village Kathaltala under the same Upazila. ASP of police Md. Nuruzzaman, Squad Commander of RAB-6 disclosed, acting on a secret information the members of RAB-6 raided Bagerhat bus terminal on the day and arrested the drug trades from near a restaurant, situated on the northern side of the bus terminal. After searching their bodies 1,490 pieces of Yaba tablets worth about Tk.4 lakh 47 thousand were recovered from their possession. The Squad Commander of the RAB further disclosed, in this connection case was registered with the local PS under Narcotics Act and they arrested persons were handed over to Bagerhat Model PS on the same day..
