Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has accused Ukrainian’s government of dragging its feet on implementing last year’s cease-fire agreement.
Although last year’s cease-fire between separatists and Ukrainian government forces has largely held, none of the political elements of the deal like calling a local election there has been implemented.
Denver airport evacuated over security threat

A section of the main terminal at Denver International Airport was evacuated Tuesday because of a possible security threat, officials said.
An airport spokesman told AFP that police were evacuating the western side of the terminal but that flights were continuing.
India to host 8th BRICS Summit in Goa

India will host the eighth annual Summit of BRICS from October 15-16 in Goa in its capacity as chair of the influential bloc comprising five countries with 42 per cent of the world population and combined GDP of over USD 16 trillion.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj made the announcement today during a function where she also unveiled a logo and a website of the Summit.
French ‘Spiderman’ scales Paris skyscraper

Security services looked on helplessly on Monday as France’s “Spiderman” Alain Robert, who holds a world record for urban climbing, scaled the Total skyscraper in Paris’ La Defense business district.
Despite an icy wind the 53-year-old easily climbed — bare-handed and without ropes — up the 187-metre (614-feet) building in less than 45 minutes, delighting passers-by.
Hezbollah says Europe burned by ME fire

The Lebanese Shi’ite group Hezbollah responded to attacks in Belgium on Tuesday by saying Europe was being burned by “fire” from Syria and the Middle East which showed the growing threat posed by ultra-radical “takfiri” groups.
“The fire that Europe in particular and the world in general is being burned by is the same one that some regimes ignited in Syria and other states in the region,” Hezbollah said in a statement condemning the attacks.
MH370 debris found in South Africa

A South African archaeologist has found a piece of debris with part of an aircraft engine manufacturer’s logo and Malaysia’s transport minister said Tuesday that authorities will examine it to see if it is from the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.
“Based on early reports, there is a possibility of the piece originating from an inlet cowling of an aircraft engine,” but a further examination and analysis are needed to verify whether it belongs to Flight 370, said Malaysian Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai.
