Bissobiddaloy Club, a social development organisation working for the betterment of human being and reducing distress of common poor people across the district, distributed winter clothes among cold- hit people under Dupchanchia upazila in Bogra district recently. Chief Guest Tonser Ali in his speech said, we should come forward to help the poor and distress people whenever they will seek our aid. Vice President Nurul Islam, former president Abdul Mannan, Asim Kumar Das, Sultan Ali Moholder, Secretary Alauddin Faqir, Poddut Kumar, organization secretary Emdadul Haque, member Ataur Rahman, Abdul Momen, Rubel Hossain, Matiur Rahman Dewan Polash, Shameem Ahmed, Masud Rana and Asraful Islam were present in the function among others.
Green city children park inaugurated in Barisal city

Barisal City Corporation constructed a park for physical and psychological development of the children. Ahsan Habib Kamal, BCC Mayor, on Friday night inaugurated the park named as ‘Green City Park’ at Raja Bahadur Road adjacent to Bangabondhu Udyan. The park was constructed on 1 acre of land at the cost of Tk.1.42 core with modern decorative lightings. It was arranged with 14 free riding instruments for 75 children, a play ground, 12 benches, 10 flower bushes, 1 rest room, 1 wash room, 2 dining rooms and seating arrangement for about 400 guardians. All rides would be free for the children aged 2-8-year with free entrance for all. The park would be smoking free and there would be restrictions against plucking flower, taking drug of narcotics, unsocial or obscene activities, throwing garbage without fixed dustbins, said BCC sources. Imtiaz Mahmud Jewel, acting chief executive officer of BCC, presided over the inaugural ceremony of the park. Among others Dr, Gazi Md. Saifuzzaman, DC K M Shahidullah, panel mayor, Habibur Rahman Tipu, Mosharraf Ali Khan Badsha, Taslima Kalam Poly, Mir Zahid, Mitu Aktar, councilors, Nurul Islam, chief engineer, M A Motaleb, superintending engineer, Dr. Matiur Rahman, chief health officer of BCC, were also present in the inaugural ceremony of the park.
