Monirampur AL leader passes away

Awami League Monirampur Upzilla Sectetory and Deed Writer Secretary Golam Mostafa (65) died at Bardem Hospital on Saturday midnight (Inna……Rajoun). His Namz-e-Janaza was held at Monirampur Fazil Madracha Eidga Moidan on Sunday after Zohor prayer and buried at his family grave yard. Golam Mostafa has been elected Upzilla secretary for 3 times. He left behind two sons and one daughter , wife and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and Rural Power Development Board (RPDB) jointly organised a colourfull rally, discussion meeting and postering marking the National Power and Energy Week- 2015 starting on Monday.A discussion held at PDB office premise on Monday noon. PDB, Executive Engineer Md. Obadiul Islam presided over the discussion while Zila Parished Administration Adv Zillur Rahman attended as Chief Guest. It was addressed among others by, Bar President & P.P Adv Shah Azizul Hoque, RPDB GM Md. Moniruddin Mujumder, RPDB Director Saiful Alam Manik, Prinicpal Md. Sharif Sadi, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, Daily Shatabdir Kantha Editor Ahmedullah and Union leader Md. Sultan Miah.
Seminar on consumers rights held
Kishoreganj district administration arranged a seminar on Consumers’ Rights Protect Law- 2009 at Local Collectorate Conference room on Sunday noon. ADC (Gen ) Talukder Md. Akter Jamil attended as chief guest while Md. Ibrahim, Assistant Director of Consumers Rights Protect Directorate presided over . It was addressed among others by ADC (IT & Education) Golam Md. Bhuiyan, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, District Press Club President Mostafa Kamal, Principal Gulshan Ara, Chamber President Md. Badal Rahman, Osman Gani and Senior Advocate Athaur Rahman.
