Pakistan offers France expertise on counter-terrorism

Israelis kill another Palestinian

Israeli border police shot dead a Palestinian who stabbed an officer in Jerusalem on Sunday, a police spokesman said, the latest attack in a two-month wave of violence.
Near a main gate of Jerusalem’s walled Old City, the Palestinian pulled out a knife and stabbed a border policeman in the neck, moderately wounding him, before being shot by officers, the spokesman said.
Iraqis find 3 more mass graves

Iraqi officials say three more mass graves have been found in the northern town of Sinjar, where Kurdish forces backed by U.S.-led airstrikes drove out Islamic State militants earlier this month.
Qasim Simo, the head of security in Sinjar, said Sunday that the graves are believed to contain 80 to 100 bodies. Two graves have been found east of the town and one has been found within the town itself, bringing the total number of mass graves uncovered to five.
Wintry storm kills 14 in US

A slow-moving wintry storm system that has been blamed for more than a dozen deaths began moving eastward out of Texas on Saturday but kept coating some states to the north in ice, making driving dangerous.
The band of storms that has been moving through parts of the Plains and the Midwest since Thursday has been blamed for at least 14 deaths, including eight in Texas and six in Kansas.
A 70-year-old woman whose car was swept away by flash flooding Friday in Fort Worth remained missing Saturday.
