Suicide bomber kills 21 in Nigeria

At least 21 people were killed on Friday when a suicide bomber blew himself up in the crowds at a Shia procession near the northern Nigerian city of Kano, in the latest violence to hit the troubled region.
The attack happened in the village of Dakasoye, some 20 kilometres south of the city, during a march by followers of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN).
Three die in attack on Mali UN base

Two UN peacekeepers and a civilian were killed and 14 others were injured in a rocket attack on Saturday on a UN base in the northeastern Malian town of Kidal, UN and local sources said.
“Our camp in Kidal was attacked early this morning by terrorists using rockets,” said an official from the UN peacekeeping mission in Mali (MINUSMA), adding that two Guinean UN peacekeepers and a civilian contractor were killed.
