Md. Rabiul Hawladar (15), a High School student and son of one Md. Soleman Hawladar of village Sanyasi under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district committed suicide by hanging himself with a fan in his bed room on Monday as he failed in his SSC test examination; 2015.The deceased was a student of class-X of vocational section of S R Rashidia High School in the Upazila. He failed in his SSC test examination and committed suicide.In this connection SI Faruk Ahmed, IC of Sanyasi police outpost under Morrelganj Upazila visited the place of occurrence.
Jail escapee arrested in Sylhet

Police arrested a man, who escaped from jail custody at Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital (OMCH) on Saturday night, from Habiganj early Monday. The arrested was identified as Abdus Samad alias Golam Rabbani, an accused of a case filed under in a case filed under the Woman and Children Repression Prevention Act 2000. Jail Super Sagir Miah of Sylhet Central Jail said Rabbani escaped from police custody at the hospital where he was undergoing treatment on Saturday night. Later, he was arrested from Madhabpur area in Habiganj at about 5:30 am on Monday by sub-inspector Bimal Chandra of Madhabpur Police Station. Meanwhile, two constables of Sylhet Central Jail were closed to the district police lines on Sunday on charges of dereliction of duty over the incident. The punitive action was taken against two police constables who were on-duty at the hospital, according to a news agency.

Jail Super Sagir Miah of Sylhet Central Jail said Abdus Samad alias Golam Rabbani, an accused of a case filed under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act 2000 was under treatment in jail custody at the hospital. However, the accused escaped through a window of the hospital on Saturday night.The two policemen were on duty during the incident. A general case and a divisional case were filed with Kotwali Police Station in this connection.
Man killed in Faridpur train crash
FARIDPUR : An unidentified man was killed when he was hit by a speeding train in Ambikapur rail station area of the district town on Wednesday morning. Ambikapur union parishad chairman Shamsul Bari Siddique said a Rajbari-bound train from Faridpur crashed into the man around 9:30am while he was crossing the rail tracks, leaving him dead on the spot. Later, the railway police recovered the body and sent it to Faridpur Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. Sub-inspector Jahidul Islam of Kotwali Police Station confirmed the incident, reports UNB.
