Housewife killed in Jessore Jessore Correspondent. A housewife was allegedly tortured to kill by her husband at Lebutala under Jessore sadar upazila on Tuesday. She died at Jessore Medical College Hospital while undergoing treatment. The victim was identified as Parvina Khatun, 30, wife of Momtaj Uddin of Lebutala village. Shikder Akkas Ali, officer in-charge, Kotwali police station told that the housewife died as the hospital after her husband Momtaj hit her with a piece of iron at afternoon. Momtaj went on hiding after the incident, the OC added. Man electrocuted in JessoreA man died from electrocution at Ghop Nauapara Road in Jessore district town on Friday night.
