Prize distribution of ‘Precise Energy’ Olympiad held

The prizes distribution programme among the students participated in the “Precise Energy 2022” Olympiad at Pavilion Restaurant in ishwardi on Sunday. The Olympiad was organized by Russia’s Energy of the Future Information Center in collaboration with Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Construction Company Rosatom, Atomstroy Export, Russia’s Mayfil University and Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission. Nina Demensova, Head of Communications, Rosatom’s Atmastroy Exports, gave a welcome speech at the awards ceremony. Among others, Rooppur Project Site Director Engineer Ashraful Islam, Rosatom South Asia PR Manager Senia Yelkina, Associate Professor of Russia’s National Research Nuclear University Dr. Alexander the Great Conducted by Ashiq Haider, Manager, Ishwardi Nuclear Information Center. It is known that every year ‘Energy of the Future’ organizes this Olympiad. The organizers said that the aim and purpose of this competition is to create interest in the science minds of the students.

Workshop on poverty alleviation

 “EEP” model sharing workshop was organized in Rangpur on poverty alleviation and inequality reduction at the conference room of Islamic Relief Bangladesh RDRS, a private development organization on Monday. Acting Secretary of Rangpur Press Club Md. Sajjad Hossain Bappi was the chief guest at the workshop, Special guest was Abdur Rahman Mintu, Vice President of Rangpur Press Club and the programme was presided over by Abdul Hai Arif, Project Officer, Rajarhat Branch of the organization. Directors of more than 30 non-governmental organizations in Rangpur and officials of international NGOs spoke on the occasion. The project manager Md. Monir Hossain conducted the function.

Civil Surgeon( CS) in Kishoreganj Dr. Saiful Islam presided over the programme. It was addressing among others, Muklesur Rahman, Chief, Health Education Programme , Mohiuddin Miah, Training & Field Officer and Senior Medical Officer (MO) Dr. Mahabubur Rahman. CAB District President Alam Sarowar Tito, District Press Club President Mostafa Kamal, school teaches and Imams were also present.
