Law, Order Committee meet held

The monthly meeting of the Law and Order Committee was held in Ishwardi on Monday. UNO PM Imrul Kayes presided over the meeting was held at the council Auditorium. The chief guest was Upazila Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Naib Ali Biswas. Special guests were Vice Chairman Abdus Salam Khan, Agriculture Officer Mita Sarkar, Rooppur Nuclear Project Site In-Charge Ruhul Quddus, Police Station Officer-in-Charge Asaduzzaman Asad. Iftar mahfil Joynagar traders held
Iftar mahfil was organized by warehouse keepers and traders at Shimultala of Joynagar in Ishwardi. Businessman and Juba League leader Kamal Biswas presided over the Iftar Mahfil on Sunday. The chief guest was Alhaj Nuruzzaman Biswas, Member of Parliament for Pabna-4 constituency. Upazila Chairman and Awami League President Alhaj Naib Ali Biswas and General Secretary and former Mayor Abul Kalam Azad Mintu spoke. Among the guests were Municipal Mayor Isaac Ali Malitha, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Abdus Salam Khan, Salimpur UP Chairman Abdul Majid Bablu Malitha, Krishak League convener Fazlur Rahman Malitha, joint convener Murad Malitha, prominent businessman and social worker Alhaj Khairul Islam and others.
