Reception of journalists’ children held

The children of the members of the executive council of Ishwardi Press Club were given a reception for achieving meritorious results in SSC and HSC examinations. The students were given a reception at the Kritbi Press Club on Tuesday. Prof Swapan Kumar Kundu, President of the Press Club presided over the function. General Secretary and Lecturer Abdul Baten conducted the function. The recipients are Ahnaf Akif Rafi, son of Amirul Islam Rinku, Organizing Secretary of Press Club, and Asmaul Husna Arshi, daughter of Publicity and Publication Secretary Prof Almas Ali and Afrin Sultana, daughter of Ataur Rahman Bablu, Literary and Culture Secretary. Among others, Former President of Press Club SM Raja, Vice President KM Abul Basar, Office Secretary and Acting Principal of Dashuria Degree College Shahidul Islam, Organizing Secretary Amirul Islam Rinku, Publicity and Publication Professor Almas Ali, Literary and Culture Secretary Ataur Rahman Bablu spoke on the occasion.
Computer distributed among disables in Kishoreganj

Police Nari Kallan Kendra (Ponak) including District Police in Kishoreganj arranged employment and Computer distribution among disable man named Anisur Rahman at Police Super Office Conference Room on Tuesday. The programme was supported by Ponak Central President Zeesan Mirza. Kishoreganj’s Ponak President Mahafuza Nazneen Dishar Chowdhury presided over the programme while Sr. Police Super( SP) Mashrukur Rahman Khaled Bpm attended as the chief guest. It was addressed among others by Transport Owners’ Association President Lelin Rayhan Shaheen, as special guest. Additional SPs Mustaque Sarker, Noor-e-Alam, Anirban Chowdhury, Additional SP(Circle) Al-Amiri, District Press Club President Mostafa Kamal, CAB District President Alam Sarowar Tito, senior journalists A K Nasim Khan, Saiful Haque Mollah Dulu, Mohila Awami League District Secretary Bilkis Begum and others dignified persons were also present. Later, disable Anisur Rahman an honours, master degree holder, got a job in Kishoreganj Transport Association office on Tuesday afternoon.
