Training on safe road held in Baraigram

A two-day long training has been completed in Baraigram of Natore district to increase the awareness of car, micro, bus and truck drivers-helpers on the use of safe roads, proper observance of road signals and traffic laws in reducing risk. At the BRDB training center, 31 selected driver-helpers participated in the training. On the occasion, a meeting was organized by the Rural Development and Cooperatives Committee with the assistance of JICA on Monday. Upazila Chairman Dr. Siddiqur Rahman Patwari was present as a chief guest under the chairmanship of UNO Mariam Khatun.

2 drug dealers arrested in Manikganj

Police arrested two drug dealers along with yaba and cannabisIn a separate operation in Manikganj.
