Science, Technology Fair held in Manikganj

A day-long Science and Technology Fair was held on the occasion of the 43rd National Science and Technology Week at Manikganj Sadar Upazila Chattar on Wednesday. Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka Division Md. Khalilur Rahman inaugurated the Science and Technology Fair. Manikganj D C Muhammad Abdul Latif, SadarUpazila UNO Md. Iqbal Hossain, Assistant Commissioner( Land) TaslimaShirin and students of various educational institutions were present there. At the fair, students from 14 educational institutions exhibited their technology products. Participants were awarded prizes on projects and lectures between junior and senior groups. In the prizes four get awards in junior projects, four in lecture. A total of 14 persons were awarded, including 3 in the senior projects, 2 in the lecture and one in the special group.
E-GP awareness workshop in Kishoreganj

Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) a unit of Planning Commission arranged an e-GP awareness workshop at local Collectorate Conference Room on Thursday. Deputy Commissioner (DC) in Kishoreganj Mohammad Shamim Alam attended as chief guest while CPTU Deputy Director & Deputy Secretary Md.Mahafuzir Rahman presided over. Civil surgeon( CS) dr.Mujibur Rahman, Additional SP (Administration) Mustuque Sarker and Deputy Director (DD)in BCCP Maher Afroz were attended as special guests. It was addressed among others by RHD executive engineer Ritish Bourua, PWD executive engineer Md. Bahadur,executive engineer in education engineering department Nazmul Islam, Contractor Athaur Rahman Bachu and Contractor Ashim Shaha CAB District President Alam Sarowar Tito, District Press Club President Mostafa Kamal, TIB-Sanak president Saiful Haque Mollah Dulu, Exrcutive Engineers, DEO,and others dignified officials were also present.
