Abdus Chhabur, Deputy Assistant Engineer Hafizur Rahman, Mizanur Rahman Rahman, Barisal Sadar Upazila Engineer Mainul Mahmud, present Masud Rana President, Sangbadik Nirjaton Protirod kammittee, General Secretary Arif Hossain, Bureau chief of Ajker Patrika Khan Rafique, and Barisal Bureau of Jaijaydin newspaper Arifur Rahman were present in the programme.

Lalmonirhat DC Abu Jafar has said BRAC will play an important role in achieving SDGs if the social empowerment and legal protection programme is implemented properly. He was speaking as the Chief Guest at the “Right Here Right Now” programme introduction and view exchange meeting in the Conference Room of Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner on Monday. He also said that if the youth are made aware of their rights through this programme, they will make people of different walks of life aware.
As well as being able to make the right decisions about their sexual and reproductive health and play an active role in establishing gender equality. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Md. Touhidur Rahman, Civil Surgeon Dr. Nirmelendu Roy, Sadar UNO Mahmuda Masum, Deputy Director of District Family Planning Department Dr. Harunar Rashid addressed the meeting. Among others, Education Officer Abul Kalam Azad, Rangpur Divisional Coordinator of BRAC RHRN Project Madhuri Sutradhar and District Coordinator Dipankar Roy were also present in the function.
The meeting was attended by government officials, teachers, parents, local people’s representatives, NGO representatives, journalists, religious representatives, youth and youth.
