24 holidays for bankers
in 2022

The Bangladesh Bank has released a holiday list chalking out 24 holidays for scheduled banks in 2022.
The Department of Off-site Supervision of the central bank released the holiday list on Monday and sent it to the managing directors and chief executive officers of all the scheduled banks.
Of the holidays, four will fall on Fridays and three on Saturdays, which are included in weekend holidays.

Bd Thai Aluminium has recommended a 2% cash dividend for general shareholders other than sponsors and promoters for the year ended on June 30, 2021.
In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday, the company also reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk1.25 and net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk28.11 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, as against Tk0.21 and Tk27.60 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
The annual general meeting (AGM) of the company is scheduled to take place online on December 27, 2021. Its closing price was Tk24.4 during Sunday’s trade.
Rahima Food Corp declares

With its earnings turning positive, Rahima Food Corporation has recommended a 1% cash dividend to the shareholders, other than the directors.
The directors of the company are holding 90,46,300 shares while the public shareholders are holding 10,953,900 shares, the company said in a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday.
It also said that an amount of Tk10.95 lakh will be payable to the general shareholders as dividend.
The company reported earnings per share (EPS) of Tk0.07 and net asset value (NAV) per share of Tk9.29 for the year ended on June 30, 2021, as against Tk1.20 on the negative and Tk9.57 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
The annual general meeting (AGM) of the company is scheduled to take place online December 27, 2021.
During Sunday’s trade, its closing price was Tk304.4.
