Occasionally essay and football competition was held of policing days in Rajshahi police lines recently . SP Shohidullah was present as chief guest. With a slogan “Police Jonnata and Jannata Police” the police have been working their activities and preventing the offence with the public said SP. At that times Additional Police Super Administration (In-service -Crime) Mahamudul Hassan, ADSP DSB Motiur Rahman Siddiki, ADSP police (In-service training) Kamrun Nahar, ADSP Sadar Circle Sumon Dav and include others police officer were present. SP Shohidulla distributed the trophy among the winner. However, children were participant in the easy competition also. Road accident kills schoolboy in Jashore

Mohidul Islam Leon, 13, son of Mahabubur Rahman of Arabpur village under Jashore sadar upazila, who was a student of Class -VII at Jashore Dawood Public School and College, Jashore Cantonment, was killed on the spot as a truck ran over him while he was going to school using a bicycle at around 8:30am on Tuesday. The incident took place while truck ran over him from behind, killing him on the spot at Natun Khayertala on Jashore- Jhenidah Highway under Jashore sadar upazila , said sub inspector Moniruzzaman of Kotwali police station. The police rushed to the spot and took the body to Jashore General Hospital for post mortem examination. None was held in this connection.
3-day digital marketing training ends in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI: A three-day digital marketing training for SME Products ended here on Tuesday with the call for expanding the marketing scopes of the SME products making the best use of modern technologies. SME Foundation and European Union jointly organized the course under the “Poverty Reduction through Inclusive and Sustainable Markets (PRISM)- Technical Assistance to BSCIC Programme” at ARK IT Solutions Computer Laboratory in the city. A total of 20 small entrepreneurs were given training on E-marketing and digital marketing. Earlier, they were imparted training on web design and development, graphic design, outsourcing, freelancing and boutique. Deputy Manager of SME Foundation Saifur Rahman Manik, Office Manager of Technical Assistance to BSCIC Project Piash Bhattacharya, Short-term Expert Sanjidul Islam and Local Unit President of Women Entrepreneurs Association of Bangladesh Anjuman Ara Parveen were present at the closing and certificate-giving ceremony, reports BSS.
One held with illegal arms in Rangpur city

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) arrested an alleged listed top terrorist with illegal arms and ammunition from Prime Medical College and Hospital area in the city on Thursday midnight. “On a tip off, a special operational team of RAB-13 conducted a raid in the area and arrested the terrorist with arms and ammunitions,” a press release issued by Media Officer of RAB-13 Major Galib Muhammad Naitkur Rahman said on Thursday. The arrested person is Abu Taleb Sarker, 42, son of late Abdul Jalil Sarker of village Satvita in Ulipur upazila of Kurigram district. The elite force seized a foreign-made pistol with two rounds of live bullets and a magazine, one mobile phone set and cash money from his possession during the raid. Taleb had been creating a reign of terror in his area with his ‘Cadre Group’ for long time and more than 20 criminal cases are pending against him with different police stations in Kurigram district.
