Madrasa teacher killed in road accident

A madrasa teacher was killed in road accident at Ahamod Nagar in Jhenaigati upazila of Sherpur district on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as Maulana Abdus Salam(45), a teacher of Noagong Islamia Dhakhil Masdrasa in Jhenaigati upazila under the district. Police and witnessed said at about 9am a bus named Hisbul Bahar no-Dhaka-Ja-3904 was coming from Sherpur town. Maulana Abdus Salam was going it Ahamad Nagar exam center with a motor bike. The bus ran over Maulana Abdus Salam at Ahamad Nagor point and he died on the spot. At this the bus lost its control and fell down in a ditch. Eight examinees and guardians who were in the bus also injured seriously. The dead body was sent to Sherpur Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Rashedur Rahman Sordar, UNO of Dakshin Surma, was the chief guest and UP chairman Khairul Afian Chowdhury, Rofikul Islam, Shamsul Khan Badsha, Abdul Hanna Chowdhury, Jakaria Chowdhury were special guests. Md. M. Abdul Malik assistent teacher of school presided over the programme.
One killed, 13 injured in Dupchanchia road crash

One housewife was killed and other 13 persons were seriously injured in a road crash here on Bogra-Naogaon Highway under Dupchanchia upazila recently. The deceased was identified as Shokhela Begum,30, wife of Chanmia Sardar para village under Dupchanchia upazila of the district. The injured are Samsul Alam,40, Rabiul Islam,17, Shohag Hossain,9, Badhon Hossain,7, Marium Khatun,9, Kuin Khatun,13, Asma Khatun, Riad Hossain,13, Abu Zit,10, Baishakhi Khatun,12, Zosna Begum,56, Mili,45, and Shabuj Hossain sarderpara village under Dupchanchia upazila of the district. The eyewitness said this terrible accident took place in the area as a commodity laden Bogra bound mini truck hit their three-wheeler from behind, left they injured. Local rushed them immediately in Dupchanchia upazila health complex where the attending doctors declared Shakhela died and others are out of danger. Officer-in-charge (investigation) of Dupchanchia police station Mohsin Ali said, on information police rushed the spot and advised them to lodge an unnatural death case with the police station.
