View exchange meeting with journalists held in Dupchanchia

Upazila Administration as well as Fisheries Department has jointly arranged a view exchange meeting with print media journalists at Upazila Administration Conference Room in Dupchanchia upazila of Bogura on Wednesday. The view exchange meeting was presided over by Upazila Fisheries Officer Asaduzzaman while president of Dupchanchia Press Club Golam Faruk spoke. Among others, General Secretary of Press Club KM Belal, senior journalist Bahram Ali, journalists Emdadul Haque Emdad, Saju Mandal and Alhaj Azizul Haq spoke in the programme. The whole meeting was conducted by the Office Assistant Office of Upazila Fisheries Office Nazrul Islam.
Moral education to prevent criminalisation stressed
PIROJPUR : Housing and Public Works minister SM Rezaul Karim here today called for boosting moral education at all level to prevent the youths like ‘Noyon Bond’ from becoming involved with criminal activities. “Moral education is very crucial for the students side by side regular education to groom up them as worthy citizen,” the minister said while distributing education materials for different schools of the district. Addressing a function on the occasion at Nazirpur Primary Teachers Association auditorium here today the minister urged the teachers to treat their students like their children. Primary school is the foundation of education and if students remain weaken at this stage they would not be succeeded to reach their goal, he said. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rosy Akhter chaired the function while Deputy Commissioner Abu Ali Md Sajjad Hossain, Police Super Hyatul Islam Khan and Upazila Parishad chairman Amuloy Ranjan Halder, spoke among others. A total of 88 projectors and 133 Sound System were distributed among different schools in the function, reports BSS.

Police Super Md.Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) was present as Chief Guest while OC Abu Bakkor Siddiqui PPM in the chair. District Awami League Secretary advocate M.A Afzol,Poura Mayor Mahamud Pervez, Additional SP Masud Anowar, Principal Prof.Rafiqul Islam Khan, Hindu Kallan trusti advocate Dholon Bhowhmic,CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito,Sanak President Saiful Haque Mollah Dolu and among others were also present.
