Education Fair ends in Mymensingh

The two daylong Education Fair has ended in Mymensingh on Tuesday on the occasion of National Primary Education Week. Subhash Chandra Biswas Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mymensingh inaugurating the fair in the city’s Naomahal Model Primary School ground on Monday. District Education Officer, Different education officials of the district including Mofazzal Hossain were present at the time. 13 Upazila Education Offices of the fair organized their stalls. Various educational materials are being displayed to make students more focused in the fair.
Police gathering, annual sports competition held

Police gathering and annual sports competition were held at Gopalganj Police Lines Ground on Monday. Above one thousand police personals under five thana in the district were participated on 22 events the competition. Besides other districts police personals were invited here. Where Benazir Ahmed, Inspector General of Police (IGP) BPM-BAR, Director General (DG), RAB force present as the chief guest, Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, BPM, PPM, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Dhaka range, Bangladesh Police present as special guests on the occasion. Mohammad Saidur Rahman Khan, PPM (BAR), Police Super, Gopalganj presided over sports competition-2016 and Mrs. Zishan Mirja, Vice-Chairperson of Bangladesh Police Nari Kallyan Samity distributed prize among the winners. Earlier chief guest Benazir Ahmed visited a March Past & took salute, light up the flare and he inaugurated the function as the chief guest.
Blood donation programme held

With the initiative of ‘Life Blood Donation Association’ in Kapasia of Gazipur a blood donation programs was organised to determine the free blood group and the voluntary blood donation programme in the overall management of the Ramija Hospital on Wednesday. The day-long blood donation programme was held at Vakoyadi High School premises. The new blood grouping and three hundred new members were enlisted in the programme. Upazila family planning officer Mohammad Abdul Rahim, Marketing Officer of Ramiza Hospital was present in the programme as Chief Guest under the chairmanship of Kausar Bhuiyan, President of ‘Life Blood Donation’. Media partners on the occasion were Bijoy TV, Open Paper, this time, the Tune of Time, Calcutta TV.
