Bombing aboard train kills 3 in southwest Pakistan

Police in Pakistan say a bomb explosion aboard a moving train has killed at least three passengers and wounded seven others in the country’s volatile southwest.
Officer Abdullah Jamali says the bomb went off in one of the cars of a Quetta-bound train early Sunday, damaging five cars. He says two men and a woman were killed, and that women and children were among the wounded.
Pompeo to visit Kuwait, Lebanon, Israel next week

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will travel to Israel, Lebanon and Kuwait next week, including talks with Cypriot and Greek leaders in Jerusalem on energy security in the Mediterranean, the State Department said on Friday.
In Kuwait City, Pompeo will seek to strengthen cooperation on defense, cybersecurity and trade, spokesman Robert Palladino said in a statement. In Israel, which is preparing for key elections next month, he will meet with Cypriot and Greek leaders to discuss exporting natural gas to Europe, Palladino added..
Israeli killed in West Bank attack

An Israeli was killed Sunday and two others wounded in stabbing and shooting attacks believed to have been carried out by a Palestinian assailant in the occupied West Bank, the army said.
“One Israeli is dead,” Israeli army spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus said of the attacks near the Ariel junction southwest of Nablus, carried out by a “terrorist” who “appears to be Palestinian”.
25 of Houthis killed in Taiz

Yemen’s national army killed 25 Houthis in clashes west of Taiz province, national press agency SPA reported Saturday.The army, backed by coalition jets, freed Al-Maksab valley and Al-Mathhabah mountain from Houthi militia.
